Selling is free
Posting a listing, editing it, messaging buyers, and marking an item sold cost nothing. PCS Swaps takes no commission on the sale price — the buyer pays you directly and you keep the full amount.
Buyers pay one hold deposit
A hold reserves an item for you and unlocks the seller's contact details so you can arrange pickup. It is charged once per item, based on the listed price:

Card processing is shown separately
Our payment processor charges 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. At checkout we show the hold deposit, the processing fee, and the total due before you enter card details — there are no fees added afterwards and no subscription.
What the hold deposit is not
- It is not the purchase price of the item.
- It is not escrow — we do not hold or transfer the sale amount for the seller.
- It does not guarantee the item's condition; inspect before you pay the seller.
Cancellations and refunds
Hold deposits are non-refundable. The deposit pays for the platform service you receive at the moment of payment: the item is reserved for you and the seller's contact details are unlocked. That service is delivered immediately and cannot be returned, so we do not refund deposits — including if you change your mind, the sale falls through, or you and the seller cannot agree on pickup.
If you believe a listing was fraudulent or the seller never existed, email support@pcsswaps.com within 7 days. We will investigate and may remove the seller, but a refund is not guaranteed.
Seller boosts (optional)
Sellers can pay to place a listing above other items in the feed, search results and base pages: $2.99 for 3 days, $5.99 for 7 days or $14.99 for 30 days, plus the same card processing fee shown at checkout. Boosting is entirely optional — free listings appear in every feed either way.
A boost buys placement only. It does not guarantee views, offers or a sale, boosted items are labelled as such, and boost fees are non-refundable once the placement starts. Buying more time on an already-boosted listing extends it rather than restarting it.
Currencies
Listings can be priced in USD, EUR, GBP, KRW or JPY for OCONUS bases. Hold deposits are charged in USD at the tier matching the listed price.
